Pink Diamond Cordyline
Cordyline ‘Pink Diamond’ is a striking, evergreen plant prized for its bold, colourful foliage. It features long, sword-like leaves in shades of green with vibrant pink and cream variegation, forming an upright clumping habit.
Typically growing to around 1.5-2 m high and 0.8–1 m wide, it has a moderate growth rate and adds a strong tropical or architectural look to gardens and containers.
Best grown in well-drained soil with full sun to part shade, it benefits from protection from strong winds and frost. Regular removal of old leaves keeps it looking tidy and lush.

Cordyline australis ‘Red Sensation
Cordyline australis ‘Red Sensation’ is a bold, evergreen ornamental plant known for its striking, deep burgundy-red foliage and strong, upright form. It forms a clumping rosette of long, arching, sword-shaped leaves, adding dramatic colour and texture to garden beds, pots, and modern landscapes.
Typically reaching 1.5–2.5 m high and about 1 m wide, it has a moderate growth rate.
‘Red Sensation’ thrives in well-drained soil and full sun to part shade, with the richest colour in sunny positions. It is low-maintenance, drought-tolerant once established, and benefits from occasional trimming of old leaves to maintain a neat appearance.

Strelitzia reginae (Bird of Paradise)
Strelitzia reginae (Bird of Paradise) is a striking, evergreen perennial known for its spectacular orange and blue bird-like flowers and large, paddle-shaped grey-green leaves. It forms a lush clumping habit and provides a strong tropical or architectural accent in gardens or pots.
Typically growing to around 1.2–1.8 m high and 1–1.5 m wide, it has a moderate growth rate.
Best grown in well-drained soil with full sun to part shade, it thrives in warm climates and is drought-tolerant once established. Flowers mainly appear from spring to autumn, attracting birds and adding vibrant colour to the landscape.

Midnight Ginger - Zingiber Malaysianum
The very unusual near black foliage is the main feature of this ginger and a show stopper to any garden.
The Midnight Ginger produces a yellow/pink basal cone.
The ginger grows between 0.5-1m in height.
The midnight ginger prefers a partly shaded area which has a rich-well drained soil.

Orange Beehive Ginger - Zingiber spectabile sp.
Zingiber spectabile (Orange Beehive Ginger) is a stunning tropical perennial grown for its unique, cone-shaped orange bracts that resemble beehives, with small yellow flowers emerging from between the scales. It has lush, upright stems with large, glossy green leaves that create a bold, exotic look in the garden.
Typically growing to around 1.5–2.5 m high and 1–1.5 m wide, it has a moderate to fast growth rate in warm, humid conditions.
Best grown in rich, well-drained soil with part shade to filtered sun, it prefers regular moisture and protection from frost.
The long-lasting bracts make excellent cut flowers, adding tropical flair indoors or in landscaping. This ginger produces an orange cone shaped flower with a fantastic aroma.

Tiger Grass - Thysanolaena maxima
Tiger Grass is a clump forming grass resembling bamboo. Tiger Grass is an excellent screening or landscaping feature plant.
The grass grows to about 3m tall but remains 1m wide at the base.
During winter it produces terminal pannicles of pink/brown flower heads which are quite decorative, at this time of year, cut off the old flower stems and give it a feed of some nitrogen rich fertilizer.
Tiger Grass does well in full sun or part shade.
